About

Speaking on the topic of Editing Your Life in Washington DC.

Welcome!

I'm a writer, speaker, and consultant focused on health, well-being, productivity, and technology.

Here's a little more about my background.

I spent the first part of my career as a physical therapist, director, and practice owner. I provided over 60,000 patients and client sessions.

My holistic approach considered all areas of life and how they affect well-being. I helped people improve their mindfulness and make time for the important things in life.

After my mother passed in 2013, I discovered the book Essentialism by Greg McKeown. It inspired me to pursue intentional living and make significant life changes.

In 2019, I experienced an episode of professional burnout. I'd been doing patient care for many years, and it was time for a change. I became a freelance health, well-being, and medical writer and consultant.

Shortly before the pandemic, I spoke on a panel at the Dad 2.0 Summit in Washington, DC. Our topic, Editing Your Life, presented ideas for intentional living and improving mindfulness.

I pivoted to client services and project management at a digital advisory firm in early 2021. I helped enterprise corporations and government agencies optimize operations through digital solutions.

My writing includes blogs, digital health/medical platforms, and a national industry magazine. I've also authored continuing education courses for healthcare providers.

My goals are to help you:

  • Simplify your life
  • Improve your well-being
  • Become more intentional and productive
  • Reduce sources of friction in your life
  • Make progress toward your goals
  • Find the best tools & resources to support your progress
